There will come a time that you will be forced into uncomfortable situations that give you a whole new out look on life. Things you once cherished no longer hold the same worth. Small things become big things, and what you once thought big no longer holds such significance. These uncomfortable places allow us to identify with the sufferings of others. It keeps us from having a foolish view of the challenges of others and allows us to truly identify with them.
Those who have walked in uncomfortable places immediately have a bond with others who have walked there also. They don’t need to explain; they just look at one another with mutual respect and admiration for their common experience. They know that death has worked a special thing in them. This death leads to life in others because of the uncomfortable places God has taken them through.
It’s impossible to appreciate the experience while you are in it. However, once you have passed through the valley, you are able to appreciate the struggles you have move through. The experience produce more than you ever thought possible. You are able to appreciate the blessing of the experience and lay aside the difficulty and pain it may have produced.
Death works in us for a greater purpose. If you are currently there, rest assured that God is producing something of much greater worth than you will ever know. Praying peace, healing, and love over you. ~ Joseph Stingley
