I’ve seen many students become overwhelmed wth anxiety when it comes to getting into crow (crane) pose. They become distracted by voices within that bring up an awareness of their inadequacies in other parts of their life, and then they show up on the yoga mat. Using props for such yoga postures as crow pose may not seem polished and poised, but using them will turn an expectation around and be used as a vehicle. Personally, I’m more concerned with the condition of their heart and willingness to use props than their abilities or inabilities. Loving you just as you are. ~ Joseph Stingley
