This past Friday (December 21) I met with a dear friend and yoga teacher that I haven’t seen in about 6 or more months. She and her husband had this precious baby boy several weeks ago. He allowed me to hold him in my arms while he slept a bit. When he was awake, his mother said he likes to be held on the right shoulder so he can see what’s going on. So I held him on my shoulders while sitting and walked around some with him at the coffee shop.
I’m so grateful I got to spend time with this new mother, giving her a few hours break of holding and caring for her precious baby boy.
Holding him and being in his presence was such a joy. And holding him was “my happy place!” This Christmas and Holiday season, find your happy place. It’s there and waiting for you. With love and peace. ~ Joseph Stingley
